The Story Behind Hey Solana:
The idea started with a simple but powerful question:
“How can I make transactions easy?”
Growing up and building in Nigeria, I saw that financial access isn’t just about having a phone, it’s about how people interact with technology. I initially explored USSD as a transaction layer because it’s familiar and widely used here. But then came the roadblocks: regulatory bottlenecks, telco limitations, and a ceiling on user experience.
So I asked a deeper question:
What if we could remove all technical barriers and just let people talk to the blockchain?
That question led to HeySolana, a voice-first crypto assistant that makes Solana radically accessible.
With HeySolana, anyone can send tokens, check balances, or interact with onchain apps using natural voice commands. No seed phrases. No complex UIs. No crypto fluency required. Just speak, and HeySolana handles the rest.
Now, we’re going even further.
We’re expanding HeySolana’s capabilities to help users pay bills, offramp to Naira, shop with crypto on Amazon and Shopify, and even book flights. Whether it’s DeFi or daily life, HeySolana is bridging both worlds blockchain and reality through a seamless, conversational interface.
The extensibility of our platform is enormous. We’re turning Solana into a voice-powered operating system for financial life. Our goal is to make crypto feel invisible because the best tech doesn’t ask to be understood, it just works.
HeySolana is the voice of Solana.
And we’re building the interface that will onboard the next 100 million users into the web 3 economy
